Wanda was an energetic and friendly tour guide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wrolf.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/wp-image-1922867573jpg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wrolf.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/wp-image-1922867573jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-155 alignnone size-full\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1125\"><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And the Alabama&nbsp;Capitol Steps where the Selma-Montgomery march ended. MLK apparently was not allowed to speak from the steps, so they loaded a lectern from the church onto a truck, and he gave his speech from there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstwhitehouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">First White House of the Confederacy<\/a> &#8211; very briefly here before Virginia seceded and the Confederate capital moved to Richmond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wrolf.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/wp-image-134037584jpg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wrolf.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/wp-image-134037584jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-156 alignnone size-full\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1125\"><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get some miles on by driving 149 miles&nbsp;to a motel in&nbsp;Atlanta.
